Kevin's Birthday 12/18

After an already busy beginning of December with banquets and the P.R. I. show,
Lauren got a wild hair to plan a surprise birthday party for Kevin.  Working behind his
back was not an easy task as most folks know that Lauren and Kevin are almost
always found together.  With the help of Jamie Miller,  phone calls were made and old
friends were resurrected.  Steve Estes, long time family friend and owner of a club in
nearby Piqua, Ohio agreed to host the festivities.  Long time friends and fellow racers
Matt Westfall and Dustin Trost were also surprised to have their December birthdays
celebrated along with Kevin's.  Dozens of people showed up, packing "Illusions" the
party central location.  High School friends, winged racers, non-wing racers, fans and
family all rang in Kevin's 27th year in a very fun fashion.  Thanks to all who attended
and special thanks to Jamie Miller and Steve Estes for helping Lauren put the party
together. All photos can be clicked to enlarge.

A few days before Christmas Greenville was hit with a record snow storm,
dumping over 2 feet on the ground and creating drifts that were roof high!
Kevin had to shovel a driveway where the snow was higher than his knees!
